Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Avada Pixel & Conversion Tracking Shopify app (the "App") provided by Avada ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The App captures conversion events on your Shopify storefront and checkout, sends them to the Meta pixels and Google Analytics 4 properties you configure — from the shopper's browser and from our server — deduplicates the two paths, reports the results in your Shopify admin, reconciles tracked purchases against your Shopify orders, and alerts you when tracking appears broken. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

2. Your responsibilities

• You must have the right to connect the Shopify store, Meta assets and Google Analytics account you use with the App.
• You are responsible for your store's own privacy notice, cookie banner and lawful basis for collecting shopper data, and for complying with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA) and with Meta's and Google's platform policies.
• You are responsible for the pixels you enable and the data you choose to send to them.
• You must keep your account credentials secure and use the App in compliance with applicable laws.

3. Google and Meta accounts and data

The App connects to Google and Meta services on your behalf using OAuth. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies. We access and use your Google data only as described in our Privacy Policy, and the Google permission we request is read-only. You can disconnect or revoke access at any time.

4. Accuracy of reported numbers

The App improves conversion tracking accuracy but cannot guarantee that the numbers reported by Meta or Google will match your Shopify orders exactly. Ad platforms apply their own attribution windows, modelling and privacy restrictions outside our control. The reconciliation figures in the App are provided to help you understand that gap, not as a warranty of it.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the App available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App depends on third-party services, including Shopify, Meta and Google, which may affect availability.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any missing, duplicated or misattributed conversions, or advertising decisions made on the basis of reported numbers.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or as required to protect the service and its users.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
